Creativity

There is no doubt that creativity is the most important human resource of all. Without creativity, there would be no progress, and we would be forever repeating the same patterns.

if you ask me what is the time in my life that i would like to go back. i would say when i was 16 and i spend three months at the beach where my only concern was to wake up early so i could go with my brother to the beach and do bodysurfing while he surfed. Just to return two hours later to eat breakfast and listen to music. just relax. then hit the beach again.

rinse and repeat.

 that was the life.

Acording to Wikipedia Obsession means:

obsession (countable and uncountable; plural obsessions)

  1. a compulsive or irrational preoccupation
  2. an unhealthy fixation

in what point hate becomes an obsession that cant let you live. Its obsession an unhealthy love?

the mind is a powerful weapon!

lately my life has been in a state of accelaration. I wake up, have a quick shower/quick breakfast/drive fast to work. When i get to work is sit in front of the computer all day sometimes i forget to eat.
get out of work late. go home and quick shower…try to read or watch tv and i fall asleep in the process.

rinse and repeat

sometimes i feel like my life is passing by, i dont have time to hang out with friends, dont have time to sleep, dont have time to draw or paint, dont have time for music, dont have time to breath.

i need more time.

ok. so, its "fiestas patrias" weekend. everybody is on the beach or somewhere out of the city and i got stuck here since the stupid accident [im not going to comment on the matter, only a selected group of people know about it.]

this friday i spend it vegging around the house [reading, watching tv, videogaming], by 7pm a friend leaves a message on msn telling me that saw3 was on the movies. anyways, after making the preparations with my friend Ara, I got dressed in the most slouchy way [pants, big tie dye tshirt and boots] and went to Aras house. Ara took the longest time in her life to get ready. By the time we went out, the movie had started so we decided to change plans.

We hit Extreme Planet to play some videogames and then Bennigans for a drink. Ara wanted to smoke, and we had to go to the Tabern [not my idea of fun because the music was salsa. OMG!!my poor ears, the torture!!].

I was ready to order my Heiny when the waitress told me they only had atlas, balboa or corona [why you torture me like this!!!]. So i ordered a corona and Ara got a blue hawaiian on the rocks, we chatted for a while and then left.

note to self: if im going to be stuck in the city while everybody is at the beach, at least get to a place with decent beer.

**at least there was a football [not soccer] match on the tv that kept me entertained and not realized that my ears where bleeding with the music. Thanks for the NFL. [lol]

Roadhouse Blues

Ah Keep your eyes on the road,
Your hands upon the wheel.
Keep your eyes on the road
Your hands upon the wheel.
Yeah, we’re going to the roadhouse,
Gonna have a real good-time.

Yeah, the back of the roadhouse,
They’ve got some bungalows.
Yeah, the back of the roadhouse,
They’ve got some bungalows.

They dance for the people
Who like to go down slow.

Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, all night long.

Do it, Robby, Do it!

You gotta roll, roll, roll,
You gotta thrill my soul, alright.
Roll, roll, roll, roll-a
Thrill my soul.

Ashen-Lady.
Ashen-Lady.
Give up your vows.
Give up your vows.
Save our city.
Save our city.
Ah, right now.

Well, I woke up this morning
And I got myself a beer.
Well, I woke up this morning
And I got myself a beer.

The future’s uncertain
And the end is always near.

Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, all night long.

La semana pasada puse letras de canciones de Dresden Dolls, ahora una letra de un clasico de Pink Floyd

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now theres a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the Steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter, come on you stranger, you legend,
You martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision, rode on the
Steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions, come on you painter, you piper,
You prisoner, and shine!

En wikipedia hay una interesante informacion sobre la cancion

"Shine on You crazy Diamond" is a nine-part Pink Floyd composition with lyrics written by Roger Waters and music written by Waters, Richard Wright, and David Gilmour. It was first performed on their 1974 tour. It was recorded for the 1975 concept album Wish You Were Here. The song was intended to be a side-long composition like "Atom Heart Mother (suite)" and "Echoes," but the song grew longer than a single side of vinyl would allow. It was split into two parts and used to bookend the album. Both parts make up the longest Pink Floyd song ever recorded.

The composition is a tribute to former band member Syd Barrett. Lyrics such as "Remember when you were young?/You shone like the sun" show strong appreciation for the contributions Barrett made to the band. The song’s title also echoes Syd’s name: Shine on You crazy Diamond. The word "Diamond" in this context corresponds to "Diamonds" in The Beatles’ classic "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", possibly an intentional reference to Barrett’s struggle with LSD, as well as a reference to another song that supposedly spells out a three-letter message.

Esta sera la semana de los clasicos.
